Marmaduke is an end of terrace three bedroomed stone cottage which sleeps 5, set in the quiet location of Drimpton near Beaminster, Dorset.  The cottage is situated at the end of a no through road on the doorstep of the famous Monarchs Way footpath.  Delightfully refurbished, the cottage has an entrance porch, sitting room with log burner, kitchen/dining room with cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and oil fired central heating making the cottage warm and cosy.

Marmaduke features a log burner and oil fired central heating throughout the cottage. All towels and bed linen are provided, with electricity and oil included in the price quoted. Parking for one car is available. Wi-fi and telephone

Children and well behaved pets welcome.

Marmaduke cottage is accessed by an unadapted, no-through road, by the village church. Local shops are just one mile away. There is also a local pub serving fantastic, wholesome food just a two minute walk away. A local milkman will deliver dairy products.

Mamaduke Cottage is located in Drimpton, near Beaminster, Dorset. Drimpton village lies amongst the beautiful rolling countryside of West Dorset, gateway to the glorious Jurassic Coastline. Dorset CoastThe Royal Oak, a pub just a few minutes walk from the cottage, serves good wholesome food.

The whole area is excellent for walking with the historic Monarch's Way and a dramatic range of hills topped by Iron Age forts. Beaminster, the nearest small town has a range of specialist shops.

It is 9 miles to the shingle beach at Eype, from where you can walk over the cliffs to the beach at West Bay with its newly developed harbour, or drive to Burton Bradstock for delicious hot chocolate! Try fossil hunting on the superb sandy beach at Charmouth or Lyme Regis
