Chideock Cottage is available all-year-round and is located in the beautiful village of Chideock, which has a shop, tea room and two pubs. The picturesque beach at Seatown is just a short stroll away and the cottage is only 3 miles from the historic town of Bridport and just 6 miles from the bustling seaside town of Lyme Regis. The cottage is situated along a quiet lane opposite the George Inn and has a sunny south-facing garden with lovely views.

The cottage is equipped to a high standard providing the perfect holiday location from which to enjoy the beautiful surrounding countryside and the Jurassic coastline. With numerous coastal walks on the doorstep, peaceful surroundings and an excellent pub just over the road, Chideock Cottage is the ideal place for a relaxing break. 

Accommodation:

Living Area

Spacious open-plan living/dining room with comfortable leather sofas, colour LCD TV, DVD and radio/CD player. There is also an ipod docking station should you choose to bring your own ipod.

French windows open out to the private, landscaped garden giving superb views of the rolling hills towards the sea. There is a gas coal-effect fire in the living area and the cottage is centrally heated throughout. There is a small library of DVD films and a good selection of books, magazines and games. Recycling facilities are available and free Wi-Fi internet access. Please ask for details.

Kitchen

Country kitchen with gas-fired Aga. Great for cooking and keeps the cottage lovely and cosy in the Winter months. Alternative cooking appliances available. The cottage has a washing machine, fridge/freezer and ironing facilities. Take a look at our kitchen essentials to see what storecupboard items are here so you don't have to bring them.

Main Bedroom

Upstairs, large south-facing room with a comfortable, victorian style kingsize bed, fitted pine wardrobe, chest of drawers and digital flat-screen TV and spectacular views.

Bedroom 2

Also upstairs, the second bedroom has a single bed, with an optional pullout full-sized single mattress, and a fitted pine wardrobe. Please note, in order to facilitate the full-size mattress beneath, the height of the single bed is slightly higher than a standard bed. Fitted pine wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Bathroom

The upstairs bathroom is modern with bath, power shower, heated towel rail, washbasin and WC.

Garden

The garden is private and has stunning views to the south overlooking the National Trust Golden Cap Estate and the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. There is a large patio area with BBQ, garden furniture, lighting and a large swinging chair.

Parking

Parking for one car is available at the bottom of Chideock Cottage garden.

Extras

Bedlinen and towels are included. Stairgates, a cot and high chair are available. Welcome tray on arrival.
