The self-catering holiday cottages are all part of a 200 year old converted barn and farm buildings, arranged around a courtyard. Whether you are looking for a quiet getaway on your own, or with a big group, we have accommodation to suit.

The cottages are set in 10 acres and surrounded by the beautiful hills and valleys of this upspoilt part of West Dorset, which has been designated an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'.

Lancombe Farmhouse

Comprising 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (2 en-suite), a beautiful large, wood kitchen with a range style cooker with open plan dining area and a large lounge, Lancombes Farmhouse is perfect for large parties or families who wish to rent together.
 
Outside the Farmhouse has its own BBQ area and seating overlooking the valley down to the Jurassic Coast.

Buckingham & Claydon Cottages

Buckingham and Claydon cottages are very similar and are adjacent to each other, offering single storey accommodation. There is a spacious open plan living / dining area with a fireplace and wood-burning stove. At one end is a beautiful fully-equipped fitted kitchen.

Both have one large double bedroom with a washbasin and one twin bedroom. There is a separate bathroom with W.C. and shower in each which have recently been renovated.The cottages have fully-enclosed private gardens with patios overlooking a wonderful view. The gardens get the sun all day and into the evening in the summer. Bring your binoculars to watch deer, foxes and buzzards on the hills opposite. 

Tanglewood Cottage

Tanglewood cottage has been converted from Granborough and Winslow cottages and with three double bedrooms, two twin rooms (one with low headroom) and two single bedrooms, provides flexible accommodation for larger groups. 

Facilities include three bathrooms — two with baths, one with a power shower over the bath and the third with a power shower. The dining room has a beautiful flagstone floor with an Inglenook fireplace and a wood-burning stove.

Outside, Tanglewood has two smaller seating areas and a gazebo in the orchard with a gas barbeque.
