We have six country cottages on our working dairy farm which are situated  on the stunning Dorset coast between the charming village of Abbotsbury and the historic Port of Weymouth. We provide self catering accommodation through out the year for weekly holidays and for out-of -season short breaks.  The cottages can accommodate from 2 -9 people and are all 4 star rated.

This unique part of West Dorset is ideal for walking the coastal footpath, bird-watching on the Fleet and fishing off Chesil Beach.  In addition take time to visit the  world famous  Swannery and Tropical Gardens at Abbotsbury,  Weymouth's safe sandy beaches, Englands first and only Natural World Heritage site, the  Jurassic Coast and Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy - home for the 2012 Sailing Olympics.

These quintessentially English country cottages are located in the quiet and peaceful villages of Langton Herring and Rodden approximately 5 miles to the west of Weymouth and a mile north of the dorset coast. They are personally run by Ann Mayo and her daughter Jane Elwood who between them have been managing the holiday cottages for over 30 years.  We are delighted that many of our guests continue to return year after year and we often have extended families booking several cottages for those all important family “get togethers”.  All of the self catering holiday cottages are extremely comfortable and  tastefully fitted with features such as open fires, beams, inglenooks, walled gardens and ample parking making for the perfect farm and cottage holiday.  They are 4 star rated by the Tourist Board and children and well behaved pets are very welcome.  Wifi has now been added to Chestnut cottage and we have created a wifi hotspot in the Old Stable at Langton Herring.  The Elm Tree Pub, a short walk away in the centre of Langton Herring, provides excellent beer and food, has a beer garden and is child and dog friendly.  It also provides a take away service.
