Rural peace in a spacious, well-equipped stone cottage with delightful views in the hills of central Dorset. A wonderful place to experience the English countryside at its best. Easy access to Jurassic coast, lovely old towns, glorious walks and many attractions.

Four bedrooms - 2 double, 1 twin, 1 single. One of the doubles is on the ground-floor next to a bathroom, so ideal for anyone who does not like stairs. A z-bed and two cots can be added.

Log fire, television with dvd, and hi-fi in the living room; Aga and an ordinary electric cooker in the kitchen; Antique refectory table in the dining room; Wendy house in the garden; and a funky master bathroom. Pleasant, restful patio looking out over fields where deer can often be seen, to gentle hills.

Situated on the edge of a friendly village with an extensive farm shop and well-known pub restaurant. Other fine restaurants and pubs are easily accessible in nearby villages.

This is the country of Hardy novels, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, just off the Wessex Ridgeway walkers‚ path, set in hills and woods.

The Jurassic coast, ancient abbeys and castles, wonderful gardens, lovely old towns, and even a tank museum are all within a half hour drive.

Dorset is wonderfully free of motorways but Greygles is easily accessible in 2 1/2 hours from London or Birmingham. This is a land that is surprisingly near yet boasting beautiful countryside, dramatic coastline, historic towns, literary links (e.g. Hardy, TE Lawrence), and many attractions.
