Wren Cottage is situated in a quiet close in the very heart of the historic village of Tolpuddle, about 8 miles to the West of the County Town of Dorchester.  

Enjoying views of the surrounding countryside over thatched roof tops, the cottage is ideally located to visit the many attractions the area has to offer including the World famous Jurassic Coast.

Very well equipped and newly furnished in 2011, the cottage comfortably sleeps four.  There is a master bedroom with a king size bed and a further twin bedded room.  It has the advantage of a bathroom and separate shower room as well as a cloakroom on the ground floor.  There is a sitting room with leather sofas, a kitchen with a full range of built in appliances including a dishwasher, and a dining area with round table and seating for four.  There is parking for two cares and a secure private garden with a BBQ.

Tolpuddle is situated 8 miles to the east of the County Town of Dorchester. At one time the main A35 road ran through the village but it was bypassed some years ago and is now a tranquil place for residents and visitors alike.

The local church, The Martyrs Inn, Village Hall and the Orchard Meadow area with children's playground all serve the community. The nearby village of Puddletown is just 1.5 miles away and provides a Doctors surgery, and an excellent village shop with butchers.

Please note that this cottage is not graded by the English Tourist Board but has been given an equivalent rating of 4 stars.
