This lovely stone cottage is peacefully situated  within 1 mile of  the beach of Swanage – a lovely sandy beach which curves around the bay and gently slopes into the water making it ideal for paddling and swimming.

Topsail house is a detached cottage which has been renovated to the highest standard and lovely traditional features have been retained such as the beams and the wonderful inglenook fire place in the sitting room. It has been furnished and equipped with great care and to a very high standard. It is centrally heated and there are beautiful cream carpets throughout most of the cottage and a beautiful slate floor in the kitchen. On the ground floor there is a lovely spacious sitting room with comfortable and luxurious leather sofas, a flat screen colour television and DVD player. Here you can relax in the warmth of a real wood fire as there is a lovely wood burning stove in the large inglenook fireplace. The kitchen is a spacious room with lovely fitted units with a granite effect top. It is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer. A washing machine is also provided. There is an attractive dining area beside French doors which open into patio with garden furniture so that meals can be enjoyed outside in the sunshine. A door opens from the sitting room to reveal a winding staircase which leads up to two beautiful bedrooms – one double and one twin room. There is newly equipped bathroom with bath, overhead shower, basin and W.C. A folding bed, sofa bed, cot and high chair can be provided if required.  All heating and electricity at no extra charge.

Topsail has a lovely sunny garden at the rear of the cottage. From the patio outside the French doors of the dining area stone steps lead up to a large lawn area where visitors can relax and games can be played. There is a drive at the side of the cottage where two cars can be parked. There are a number of interesting historical sites within a short drive of the cottage including the wonderful castle of Corfe, Lulworth Castle, the saxon wall of the market town of Wareham with its saxon church. Here you can also row on the river. A little further afield is the historic town of Dorechester with its   or the national turs property with its beautiful gardens outside wareham.
