Adventure Wonderland Family Fun Park – www.adventurewonderland.co.uk

This family theme park provides loads of rides and entertainment for all the family with several themed by the Alice in Wonderland story.  Rides include the Ghostly Galleon, the Queen’s Big Bouncer and the Cheshire Cat’s Adventure Play Castle.  Also in the park is one of the largest mazes in the UK based on characters from Alice in Wonderland and there are several shows also featuring the characters.

Abbotsbury Swannery is the world famous sanctuary for swans and their broods established by Benedictine Monks in the 11^th century.  The swannery gives you the chance to hand feed swans and see cygnets hatch. Abbotsbury swannery is a unique habitat situated right on the dorset coast and has also been a location for the Harry Potter films.   Around the swannery are play areas and a cafe – nearby are the Abbotsbury Tropical Gardens and the Childrens Farm providing plenty to do for a wonderful day out.

Farmer Palmer's is an award winning family run visitor attraction near Poole offering a mix of inddor and outdoor play for young children and an animal barn which gives children the opportunity for a 'hands on' experience of farm animals and pets.

The Swanage Railway allows visitors to experience a perfectly preserved steam railway along a magnificent journey through 6 miles of beautiful scenery and passing along the ruins of Corfe Castle.  You can also dine on the Wessex Belle carriage with a full 3 course meal.  There are a number of special events held throughout the year and there are plenty of opportunities to learn about the steam engines running on the line
